The trip was awesome. My friend C was at a university in the area for a meeting so we decided to make a vacation of it. I managed to get great deals through Virgin America and Priceline for the flights so it was an inexpensive trip too!
Rather than have only one really picture heavy post of the trip, I'm going to break it up over the next couple days. Here are my faves from the first part.
The view from our hotel room in the rain. Apparently I can be easily hypnotized by living in a tall building overlooking a road because this completely relaxed me. As did staring at other tall buildings as I fell asleep. I had no idea I'd like to live in a highrise!
Me overlooking the sound. One of the first pics we took. Notice my hair. I don't usually resemble Medusa, but it was WAY windy and rainy. Too windy for umbrellas. But we had a blast!
